Ms. Hart comes to Shimoda Law Corp. with over a decade of experience in employment law and civil litigation since graduating from UC Davis Law School in 2004.
As a member of Shimoda Law Corp.’s legal team, Ms. Hart brings this experience and passion to her advocacy for the underserved, whether it be for victims of wage and hour violations, employment discrimination and harassment, or retaliatory employment practices.
Prior to joining Shimoda Law Corp., Ms. Hart worked alongside a number of attorneys in the Sacramento area focusing almost exclusively on plaintiffs’ side litigation and employment law. In addition to employment cases, Ms. Hart has also assisted with Title IX cases, civil rights cases, elder abuse and neglect cases, as well as other types of cases, including premises liability, wrongful death, and childhood sexual assault. No matter the type of case, Ms. Hart has always played an integral role in helping attorneys achieve results for their clients through settlements, verdicts, and appeals.
Ms. Hart has done this all while raising a young child. As such, she understands firsthand what it is like to navigate a career and the workplace, while at the same time maintaining a strong family unit at home.
Now that Ms. Hart has joined Shimoda Law Corp.’s legal team, she plans to continue to pursue her path of zealous advocacy in areas of employment and labor law.
