Biography:

Mr. Konini has always been on the side of the less powerful. In the summer of 2010, he worked as an intern at the Northeast New Jersey Legal Services which is an organization that represents people who cannot afford to pay for an attorney. After graduating from law school, Mr. Konini has represented clients in personal injury cases and in construction defect cases. He has practiced in front of New Jersey Courts for four years where he focused in the personal injury area. After moving to the Golden State in search of more sun and less snow, Mr. Konini started representing homeowners in construction defect cases for more than two years. Following his passion of helping people, Mr. Konini joined the Shimoda Law Corp. whose goal is to provide quality services to its clients and help people with their employment or personal injury issues. Mr. Konini practiced labor and employment law during his tenure with the Shimoda Law Corp. from April 2019 to February 2021. In September 2022, he was excited to rejoin the Shimoda & Rodriguez Law, PC after taking some time off and working for a personal injury firm. Mr. Konini’s practice focuses on wage and hour class actions, Private Attorneys General Act claims, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and personal injury cases. His wage and hour practice includes issues such as failure to pay overtime, failure to pay minimum wages, failure to provide meal and rest periods, failure to pay reimbursement expenses, unlawful deductions, failure to keep accurate time records, failure to provide accurate wage statements, failure to provide paid sick leave, failure to pay all wages upon separation, unfair competition, breach of contract, independent contractor misclassification, and salaried misclassification. Mr. Konini’s advocacy experience includes two jury trials and many arbitrations and mediations.

Mr. Konini enjoys spending time with his sons and his family. He also likes running, playing basketball, and going with his wife wine tasting in the Lodi area.
